Randy Pausch is one of my hero's! If you have not already heard of him or watched Randy's last lecture do so immediately! Inspirational is the least I can say about this man. I've watched his famous lecture, caught him on Oprah, ordered his book and am counting down to tonight's interview with Diane Sawyer. I am brought to tears almost every time I listen to him. Just knowing this great man will soon no longer be with us and that his children will soon lose their father breaks my heart to no end. The lesson's Randy teaches are one's that everyone must hear especially parents. Sure he may not be the coolest guy, sure he may not be the most eloquent speaker but his message is one of living your dreams, enabling the dreams of others, integrity and having fun! GREAT life lessons!

I am so sick of cancer, so tired of hearing about amazing people dying. when will this slow down?
ReplyDeleteOkay this is the second time that I have opened your blog and you have written about something that I totally feel as well. Randy Pausch-amazing! Jai Pausch-amazing! I love that statement that she says when she finds herself going down a wrong thought path. She repeats "not helpful". I am going to remember that and use it. I have already downloaded his book to itunes so I can listen to it on the way to Me Ra's workshop. I hope I can wait until then to listen to it. Talk to you soon.
